Big Snoop Dogg hit us with yet another banger. This time around the OG blessed us with some wisdom lyrics about the plight that every “black” man endures here in the wilderness of N. America. The name of the track/song is simply called Black Man in America. The production/beat is a smoothed out, slow tempo kind of beat. As far as I’m concerned, the beat has that early 90s vibe to it. With that being said, I think that’s the perfect kind of beat for the type of conscious lyrics the big homie is putting down.
One of the dopest lines of the song is when he referenced an old Chuck D (Public Enemy) line, by saying “Farrakhan is a prophet”. Inclosing, it seems that it almost took Snoop's entire career to drop some conscious lyrics. But in all reality, real Snoop fans know this wasn’t the first and it won’t be his last. Please check out the video posted below. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
