Kanye West wears a skirt at the 12-12-12 concert

Too Much Swag

I was hyped when I heard about the line up of legendary acts that was scheduled to perform at the (12-12-12) concert benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims. Mega stars like: Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen  Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones, The Who and a long list of other celebrities were all pushing for one goal. And that goal was to generate funds for the victims of this tragedy.
But you know how we here at ill-board.com get down, meaning we like to focus on the music and efforts that pertain to the community. So with that being said I watched pretty much the entire program and some notable black star power was in the building. Sean Diddy Combs did his announcement thing and introduced the lovely Alicia Keys. She did a fifteen minute set which included about 3 songs. Her performance was classy and elegant. .
ASAP Rocky's ill dress
Chris Rock also did his thing in-regards to his usual funny and humorous stage presence. But when Kanye West finally hit the stage he didn't disappoint. I thought that they were going to only give him a 10-15 minute set like they did Alicia Keys but to my pleasure he rocked the stage just as long as the legendary acts. West pretty much touched on all of his hit's with the stage presence of a seasoned vet. But it was something that I couldn't keep from noticing.... My man was rocking the ill leather skirt. That's right, he was wearing a black leather skirt. I noticed a few days ago another hip hop artist, ASAP Rocky was rockin what looked like an white summer dress. Some people have said that these dresses are just long wife beater t-shirts but Kanye's had pleats in the back. Now what kind of t-shirts you know that have pleats at the lower end? Call me old or out of touch of the current swag but if I see brothers walking around the hood wearing skirts and dresses or even rocking the so-called long wife beater with the shoulders hanging out Ima have a big issue with it. Oh yeah, while we speaking on style, don't you think it's time to pull your damn pants up. We've been sagging for far too long lol.
