  Since Nicki Minaj hit the scene music executives and fans a like have been looking for the next female hip hop artist to blow. As always I comb through many cities, hoods and websites looking for quality music. As of late I've seen a huge emergence of female rappers. Many of whom are pretty good. The crazy thing is white female rappers are really putting down and as a result they're on the rise. But many of these female rappers white and black a like are coming up short. Some are rehabilitated porn stars or strippers with no lyrical skills, while others are very lyrical with no appeal.

Brianna

    Well finally I think I've found a female rapper that has the whole package. Her name is Brianna and she hails from Miami's on indie label Poe Boy Music. I think by using the name Brianna is a good thing when it comes to marketing this artist. Already the market is familiar with a similar name "Rihanna", which I think the label can piggy back off of. As an artist Brianna has the familiar beauty of a young rapping Foxy Brown. Simply put she kind of looks like a red-bone Foxy Brown. Her lyrical delivery even comes off like Foxy's but with a southern twang to it. Simply put I like what the south has brought to the world of hip hop. Hopefully this female rapper can continue to keep southern hip hop relevant as well as the female mc.

DJ Khaled

   Another act that I'm kind of feeling right now is DJ Khaled. Now this brother has been putting it down for some years. As a radio personality and of course as the king of hood records. Now when I say hood records I mean this brother finds the hottest artists in many different parts of the country and make hot music with them. Sometimes you'll find many of these artists on the same record which has become DJ Khaled's claim to fame.
     His new CD is obviously another compilation titled We the best forever. And the streets are buzzing about this new joint. The CD is due to official hit the streets July 19Th of this year and it should be the reason why this summer should be off the hook. I think with the formula that he brings to the game is a double edged sword. Because when you make hood music or music for the inner-city, the inner-city will get it the cheapest way possible and that means bootleg copies which I'm sure you've gotten your copy already.
   With the help of the lead single titled I'm on one featuring Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne this CD should be platinum in just under a month. So let's support DJ Khaled for putting all the work in over the years. Remember this is to be his best project to date. And with the help of Cash Money Records along with the power of Universal records this should be the biggest hip hop release of the summer. Until next time have some fun and get something done.
