The sense of community can be felt at Akron's latest addition to what I like call Akron's Black Wall St. The latest addition is a beauty supply store, beauty salon, and what I like to call a "business hub" that houses other local entrepreneur's products and services. The name of the business is called Elegant Desires (Hair Store) located at 83 S. Arlington St.
Talking to the owner Deonte Brunson aka Bone about what motivated him to do a venture like this particular one. He said that the most high "God" blessed him with the vision and the ability to bring it to fruition. The store's layout and decor are flat-out incredible. As soon as you step through the doors the artwork alone will blow your breath away.
Understanding that Deonte Brunson is a very spiritual man one can't help but notice how humble and conscious the brotha really is. With a mindset like that, I believe skies are the limit for him and his fine establishment. Check out our quick conversation in the video posted below.
