What's black girl magic? Everything! The fact that the most inferior beautifully created creature made by the creator is the Womb of every man his vision his hopes his sanity, and his love. Women of our culture and color have been the gate to everything possible on this earth we birth babies go to school work or stay at home, we cuss fuss fight laugh cry and gamble on the men we choose to give our hearts to that. Yes, that's some black girl magic. We hold him down while he's doing 3 days, 60 days, 18 months or whatever. We motivate build up inspire aspire before we retire and expire!
We create the style in makeup, clothing, shoes, music, and cars. We bring the flavor to the kitchen the boardroom and bedroom. We sometimes have the wrong moments in PR. Y'all know the moments when we got a rag on our head on the news lol. Or showing out in the streets, or our kid's school but rarely on our jobs. That too is black girl magic, how because we transform in 60 seconds accordingly to the degree warranted when it comes to kids, injustice, or ignorance. See we work hard to tuck away the hood/ghetto or unsavory image to put on new hair, a new voice, and show off our brain power.
We invented cures for disease, we organize meetings to have our Voice and views to be heard civilly, we show up and become advocates for those who can't speak freely or are afraid too. We find new paths to educate, stimulate, push our children through cultural education, we fund programs that Fred bellies and minds, we bring awareness to our community injustices. We are the everyday neighborhood watch yup we watch your kids act a fool and your significant other cheats, we also watch out for each other as well. We share our magic on stage through acting Singing or playing instruments without formal training. We are spoken word artist we tell stories and paint pictures on your imagination when just simply talking.
