Cars, Consciousness and Music With Businessman/Rapper "Boo Sprag"

Rapper/Businessman Boo Sprag
When it comes to the sound of modern "rap" music we all can agree that most of the time it can all sound the same. The production/music and dialect of the rapper maybe different but the subject matter often stays the same. From poping pills, drug dealing, alcohol abuse and sexual themes being glorified on just about every song on an entire CD is "literally" mind-blowing.

As of late, it seems as if the mindset of the culture
here in Akron is slightly changing. Every now and then I'll get a music video or song that has that certain "black" consciousness in it. As it pertains to "black" consciousness, I'm simply talking about music with a message that could possible cause the listener to think.

Akron rapper and businessman Boo Sprag is one of those rappers/individuals that believes that you have to say something every now and then about the state of our people and culture. In his latest music video titled "Hell On Earth" he does just that.

Also as a businessman he owns an auto mechanic/body shop located at 939 E. Wilbeth street here in Akron Ohio. As a self-proclaimed "car" guy Boo Spragg have took his passion and now he's turning it into profits. Also his new mix-tape titled S.L.A.B (slow loud and banging) Music will hit the streets in late August. Personally speaking, it's always a good thing to talk with people that are investing into the communities from which they come from.

In addition, Boo Sprag will be partnering up with an other Akron rapper (Rich P) for his back to school drive on August 19th which will be held at Summit Lake Community Center starting at 12pm.  In closing, it is people like Boo Spragg that should be celebrated and supported. Like I always say, support the people that support the community. With that being said, please check out our conversation/interview and his music videos below. Until the next time, have some fun and get something done.
