Many people have been giving us mad props for showcasing the Ampichino and King Locust project on the front of our web/blog site. When I checked our numbers to see how many hits we've received, I thought "wow" this project is going to be very successful. Not only did the city of Akron Ohio showed love but other people across the country as well. Which brings me to this conclusion. We here at Akron Hip Hop.Com will not only be the place where you can come to checkout national CD reviews and interviews but we will have an even more focus on the local/independent music scene. As some of you may already know, we have a page on our site devoted to local rap videos titled Akron Rap Charts. This weeks featured artist is one of Akron's best. They go by the name of The Infamous U. For those that don't know they have been doing their thing on a professional level for years. In short they've decided to reconnect with local legendary produccer Jay Wade to produce an all new CD that will no-doubt continue to keep quality music relevant in the streets of AK.
