Every now and then we run into someone that's seems to be different,unique and special all at the same time. When it comes to the city's current crop of leaders Christopher J. Ruple a.k.a MrObe Rc should be mentioned. MrObe Rc is at the forefront of this new movement of entrepreneurial thinkers here in Akron Ohio.
Currently MrObe Rc is focused on his brand and elevating the mindset of the community. His brand, (as he puts it) is everything that has to do with his movement. He is a barber, rapper and has his own clothing line all of which is under the brand MrObe. As a barber, he's currently located at Kingdom Kutz on Akron's south-side on the corner of Cole ave. and Grant st.
From his barber's chair and via social media MrObe consistently promotes a positive mindset. One of the things that makes this young man special is, how he's taking advantage of his second chance. After spending about 3 years in prison he was released with a new outlook on life. The now 24 year old has gotten his GED, OSHA, Constructions Renovators, CPR and most recently his barber's license. He believes if people know that it's possible to be successful after going to prison they may be more willing to try.
In-closing, I see this young man as someone in the community that should be elevated and respected. His focus, hustle and beliefs are the stuff that real men are made of. When talking to this young man one would began to realize how inspiring this current generation can possibly be. Until the next time, have some fun and get something done.
