Dough Blow Clothing Line

CEO Karon Boston
We here at Akron Hip Hop/Mecca Media Entertainment love to showcase our local celebrities/legends. And when it comes to the clothing/t-shirt game here in the city-sometimes you gotta let someone who is very familiar with the business explain. If you've not noticed the amount of independent minded individuals that are doing the clothing line thing, then you are simple not paying attention. Creator and owner of The Dough Blow clothing line (Karon Boston) has been putting in work regarding his brand way before this current trend and interest.

According to Karon (aka Dough Blow) we as a people need to understand that taking your hustle to the next level is the most important thing. The term "Dough Blow" is a mentality that he preaches constantly. "If we try to take the same attitude that some of our people have regarding street life and hustling and apply it to something like real estate, the results would be positive". While talking to this brother, I began to realize that he was more than your average so-call hustler. Karon's views on business and community comes off like an "Akron" Jay Z

He explained the difference between a clothing company and a t-shirt line. While listening to him explain the difference between the two, I began to realize how confused I really was. Like I always say, it's good to talk to someone with an understanding about a specific thing. His credits his experience and his willingness to understand the current trends as his teacher.

Regarding his thoughts on black on black violence, he believes if people would just put on the boxing gloves rather than shooting each-other we would be better off. A simple but effective gesture that would ultimately save lives. I could sit around and talk with this brother all day which is why I had to record part of our conversation located after this post. In-closing, what I thought would be just another interview turned out to be an enlighten conversation with more than your average hustler. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
