Chris Brown and Rihanna's New Music

Chris Brown and Rihanna
As always we here at ill-board.com bring you the latest news in-regards to the music industry. We try to keep you informed on all the hottest music, artists and happenings in the game. And this time we have some of the illest(crazy-hot) news to share. Everybody should be talking about what I think is the biggest news to hit the streets and that's P-Diddy's new television network. But instead people and the Internet are going nuts over Rihanna's new remix single titled Birthday Cake that features her ex-boyfriend and abuser Chris Brown. Now I need not to rehash all of the craziness that these two have endured over these last few years as well as their time together. This news and single has Twitter, Facebook and other social network sites having a war of words since the single dropped. The most controversy comes from the fact that the lyrics Brown sings, sexually suggesting how he's been missing and want to rekindle the lustfully filled relations that they shared. Rihanna adds to that, when she sings sexual responses during her verse directed towards Brown. I think that the subject matter of this record in conjunction with these two mega artists and their unique circumstances generates great controversy. And as always controversy sells records. I noticed some people calling Rihanna a hypocrite because she was so-called working with her abuser. My perspective is simple. It's 2012 and if you know anything about the recording studio as of late you know that people need not to even be in the same recording session let along the same city. In short I'm saying just because they did this song doesn't mean they did it together. And also it means that this was just a clever promotional move to spark an interest in this song and doesn't mean that they're together as a couple. CALM DOWN PEOPLE.

Now the news that I think will bring back the music business is "Sean "Diddy" Combs announces REVOLT, his new cable TV network. REVOLT is a revolution in music on television, a place where artists and their viewers come together and engage with technology and social media. It's a channel where new artists can share their work in the way it was meant to be: raw, uncut, and uncensored. REVOLT was selected by Comcast to be the first music network to truly leverage the power of social media, fueling the live music dialog and influencing the music culture for the video-centric generation. My personal opinion is without a true visual voice for the music industry (especially for the urban experience) the game will continue to suffer. Just look at the history during the years that the digital divide(illegal downloading and bootlegging) was taking over the music business- we've lost the the video support of B.E.T and MTV. So with the emergence of REVOLT Television we can get back to business.

Another thing people want to know is exactly how good CD are. Every now and then people ask how hot is this CD or that CD. I usually never give people my personal opinion but today I will share how I always answer those question. With the record sales better known as the numbers. With that being said have some fun and get something done.
