Business Owner Serena Smith |
Recently I was invited to an event that featured Akron's up-and-coming entrepreneurs. It took place this past Saturday, September 26th at the Holiday Inn located on Media Rd. in Akron Ohio.
One of the great things about the event is, it was created and developed by a few of the young entrepreneurs themselves. In short, the event was a celebration of young "business-minded" African American people in the form of a "flea market" style forum.
Many of the young entrepreneurs were all dressed up representing professionalism and good business practices. I was able to talk to each individual business owner about their brand and services. All in all, the Young Entrepreneur's Conglomerate made a positive impact by dispelling the myth that our young generation is lost and out of control. To make it plain, these "youngins" got it all together. Please check out the highlights from Saturday's event in the video posted below this article. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.-Hiram Akeem
