Instant Classic From Legendary Busta Rhymes

Ok, I gotsa be honest. When I heard the legendary Busta Rhymes calling out (the king of the south) rapper TI, I thought “c’mon Busa Bust”. In all honesty, I actually thought like TI did regarding the generational gap. When TI first mentioned the generational gap (in a recent response video) I thought he was funny as hell to publicly make a comment like that. But it seemed like TI had to respond because Busta was going all the way in talking about how TI was scared to do a versus battle. They both handled the response videos with brotherly love and great jokes.

The thing that really stood out in my head was why Busta was going so hard towards TI? Could it be that Busta didn’t really realize the generational gap? Well, after listening to Busta Rhymes's latest project titled Extension Level Event 2 it became really clear to me why he was going so hard. 

If you haven’t heard his latest joints/project you are cheating yourself. This project is an instant classic. It’s a breath of fresh air amidst an atmosphere polluted with mumble rap and autotune. This project is filled with A1 production and lyrics. Also, Busta has an all-star lineup of featured artists that contributed to the project. Artist like Chris Rock, Rick Ross, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Q-Tip, Mop, Ol’Dirty Bastard, Rakim, and Pete Rock just to name a few.

As I write this article I haven’t stopped to refer to the project’s tracklist, not even once. I bring that up just to illustrate how much these joints stood out in my head. In closing, I like to believe that Busta was really flexing on social media regarding TI because he knew that he had an instant classic in his back pocket.
