I recently had a conversation with the brother Brandon Burt of Burt's Furniture & Appliances located at 2 locations in Canton Ohio. He was explaining to me how "white america" has healthier options pertaining to restaurant food. I agreed with his statement as he continued by saying that certain neighborhoods offer better quality food and options. I explained to him about the so-called cultural divide.
Now, some people may not be familiar with the so-called cultural divide. So I will try to explain it in-short. African Americans are allowed to go sit and eat at any place in the states. The same can be said for Euro-centric (white) Americans as well. But as you know, "generally speaking" most people will frequent where thy're most comfortable. Hint's the term "cultural divide". And the same can be said about movie cinemas, groceries stores and just about everything else.
Brother Brandon explained to me how he feels fortunate to have grown up around euro-centric Americans. So much so that he feels the need to elevate his people (the urban community) about the better choices and options that's out in the so-called suburbs.
