Trey Songz continues with club bagger!

Trey Songz Back
Like I always say, when it comes to the latest in hip hop and R&B there's know other place where you should be right now. Every month we here at ill-board.com try to promote some of the hottest new music that's making some noise around the country. But when it comes to us, we will always try to promote the underground artists as much as possible. Popular artists are always pushed nationally via Radio One and Viacom. That's why we feel that it is important to keep our ear to the streets and bring the somewhat unseen artists to the forefront. With that being said I like to thank all the people that hit up ill-board.com everyday with all of your comments about what's happening in your neck of the woods in-regards to Hip Hop music.

One artist that caught my ears over this past month has got to be my man Willie Evans Jr. He is getting a lot of love for his new song and video titled Introduction. The songs has that traditional east-coast production. Like always when I hear beats like this I expect the rapper to be better than average. And the same can be said about Willie Evans Jr. His lyrical content and flow is on the next level. When I watched the video I saw one of the best lyricist Pharaoh Monch. I think when you see someone like Pharaoh in the video one have to think that this guy (Willie Evans Jr.) is on the same level if not better.

Another track I thought was hot was by Sticky Fingaz. Of-course we are all familiar with the Onyx style and vibe. But on his latest joint titled The Whole Dam New York Sticky Fingaz delivers a laid back flow over a Wu-Tang type track. On the song Sticky raps about who he is and what he have done during Onyx's hay day. As he takes you on a verbal journey through history he often tells you that he represented the entire state of New York or should I say the five boroughs.

Underground rapper Danny Brown re-surface's with another crazy joint titled Blunt after Blunt. When I first heard the song I didn't know who it was. His delivery was harder and the lyrics was crazy. When I found out who it was I was shocked. This is clearly his best lyrics to date. The video had me laughing the entire time. Imagine some of the hardest lyrics being delivered by a guy with a perm like Prince wearing a Tiger outfit. That's right, Winnie The Pooh's home boy, complete with the hood with ears. Now that's ill.

As far as blazin hip hop and R&B goes, I think Trey Songz is the king of this musical genre. His new song features rapper Fabolous and is titled What I be On. The production on the track continues where they left off (the club). I like the fact that Trey sings about the stuff that rappers rap about. I think this formula is what makes him so hot. Not only the ladies love his style but the fellas can relate because of his street vibe and flair. I think that his new CD will be off the hook. Don't forget to go to Ill-board.com and check out all of these artists and their new music. Until next time have some fun and get something done.
