One of the doppest things that can happen in our community is the opening of a new business. We now know and understand that the importance of shopping and supporting African American businesses in our communities is paramount. Recently, a friend of the platform has launched her very own website called ConsciousCorner.net.
Tia Al-Qaadir is one of those independent thinkers who love to put her community, culture and heritage first. In-fact, she always represent our African culture via fashion or literature. With that in mind, she decided to create an online store to help fill a void in the city of Akron Ohio.
