As we enter into an unfamiliar summer, uncertainties remain at an all-time high. We here at Akronhiphop/Mecca Media Entertainment will continue to showcase some of what makes BLAkron Ohio so special. We know that social distancing is still in effect and believe that how we use to do "some" things will remain changed forever.

Some changes are not so bad. With that being said I wanna formally introduce a positive change to our platform and her name is LaToya Pursley. LaToya is a breath of fresh air that I believe has super "dope" talent and personality. She sings, paints, and blesses the community with her personality via Facebook live.

I believe that positive female images are essential to our community. Now don't get me wrong, I do notice how many of our sistas are on social media twerking and what not. But this is why I believe positive images of our people are essential to our community. In short, for every twerk video, there should be a positive alternative on every social media timeline. Which is why I'm "supa" excited about LaToya Pursley joining our efforts. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
