Starting in 2020, we will be dedicating a few spots a week for interviews regarding news related incidents from our community. That's right, every Monday from 4pm-7pm downtown at the main library we will allow anyone from the community to share their story for free.
Many people confuse community-related news from advertisements. Allow me to try to explain the difference in the simplest of ways. We here at Akronhiphop.com consider an advertisement as anything that can generate capital. Situations such as parties with an entrance fee, an author with a book to sell, merchandise, music and anything else that can generate money will have to make the donation.
We want the city to understand that sponsors make the" media" world goes round. And without any donations from the community that utilizes our platform, we couldn't do what we do. So with that being said feel free to take advantage of our free Mecca Mondays from 4-7pm.
