For those that don't know, we here at Akronhiphop/Mecca Media Entertainment always try to showcase the city's best local rap music. We do it in the form of a monthly rap chart and show. The chart is comprised of the top local rap videos that we think are the most visible and popular from the previous month.

With that being said we only showcase the videos that we see on our social media timelines, inboxes or Youtube. That's right if you are a rapper from BLAkron Ohio and you need some exposure just hit us up at (330) 937-2632. It is always our job to showcase the local rap music scene as it pertains to the city as a whole.

The actual show, that we're calling The Akronhiphop Rap Show will feature our local rap correspondent and BLAkron Ohio rapper Dre D.  Dre D. is one of Akron's busiest rap artists. He's not only doing his thing with us as the host of our show but he literally goes around the town baring the elements and interviewing rappers in their natural habitat/hood.

Once a month we do our Rap Chart Show which Dre D. hosts the show in the studio. This version of the show concentrates on the hot new music that the Akron rap scene is producing. One of the dope things about this vlog/podcast is the celebration of the local rap music scene. Another dope thing is Dre D. is an Akron rapper that shows love to anyone that's trying to do their thang by showcasing them on the program/vlog. Please check out the video posted below.
