One of the best things about what we do here at AkronHipHop is the networking opportunities. Also the caliber of people that we get to meet and vibe with are incredible. Speaking about "incredible" this week I got the opportunity to meet with Tammy Cummings.
For those that don't know, Tammy is trying to and would like to be the next councilwoman for ward 7 in Akron Ohio. Ward 7 consist of the south side, the Firestone Park area, The Arlington Plaza and a few other adjacent places. As a graduate of Garfield High School, Tammy is all too familiar with the south side, south east side and Firestone Park communities.
Below you'll find my vibe session with the lovely "soon to be" councilwoman. Her energy and ambition is very infectious. Her work ethic and vision regarding her campaign and the community (in which she would like to serve) is second to none.
