A lot of people talk a "good" game but can never really back it up. Well, when it comes to the Dawah Society of Ohio such a statement can not be further from the truth. The Dawah Society of Ohio is an Islamic collective hailing from Canton Ohio. Its mission is to do Allah's will through education, advocacy, and outreach.
Recently the president Bro. YaYa and vice president Sis. Taressa stopped by our office to let us know about their upcoming fundraising event featuring Sheikh Khalid Yasin and Sheikh Okasha Kameny. The program will focus on building communities through families, tafsir or interpretation from the Quran and modern application.
The fundraiser event will take place on September 8th, 2018 at the Presentation Hall located at 3365 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn (Akron) Ohio.
