Akron Ohio's West Side Coney Island Is #1

Open For Business Tuesdays-Saturdays 9am-7pm

Many people think about leaving the workforce but very few really make the move to do so. Entrepreneur  Desaray Williams is one of those few as well as the owner and operator of one of the best places to eat in Akron Ohio. Her restaurant is called Westside Coney Island located at 406 Storer Ave. The building itself has been in the neighborhood for over 30 years. Her restaurant which is located in the (before mentioned) building has been serving the community for 6 years.

Just by the restaurant's name, you know that coney dogs are at the top of the list when it comes to the customers. According to many of the recurrent customers the barbeque and shrimp dinners are to die for. One of the things that I noticed about the restaurant was how clean the entire place was. The Dining room area was well organized and neat. The kitchen itself was so clean you could probably eat off the floor. Now I don't recommend eating off the floor but you get my drift?

In closing when talking to Desaray about her decision to leave the workforce she simply said that she spent 17 years of her life facilitating someone else's dreams and goals and thought it was that time to make a change. For the west-side of Akron as well as the entire BLAkron Ohio we're glad that she made that move. Remember the restaurant is located at 408 Storer Ave. and is open for business Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-7pm (330) 864-8466.
