Here in Akron Ohio, male rappers come a dime a dozen. The same can be said just about anywhere in these united states of America. But here in BLAkron, we can consider ourselves fortunate because our music scene has longevity. 

Female rapper Murda J is one of those rappers that has seen the local rap game grow to what it is today. As a 6-year-old girl, she was serious enough to walk into a local studio with her friend looking to show her rap skills. It's stories like this one that make her so special.

As an adult, she was incarcerated for 4 years. While locked down she conditioned her writing skills and dreamed even harder about reaching her goal by taking one day at a time.
Since her release, she's a new mom and started her very own record label. The company so far is concentrating on their number one artist and of course, it's the CEO herself Murda J.

In closing, Murda J's grind, focus, and determination are what superstars are made of.
