Free Haircuts The Day Before School Starts

 It seems like this time of the year, many concerned people from the community are doing their part to help build better relations with each other. It makes me feel good to see that being uplifting, empowering and generally concerned about our people is the new trend.

My brotha John Thompson aka JT The Barber is one of those individuals that has been concerned enough way before it was considered trendy. At his barbershop (Rennies which is located at 677 W.Exchange st.) he provide a positive environment and safe haven for young boys from the community. 

During one of my visits I over heard JT give advise to a high school graduate about staying focused and maybe going straight to college. It seemed that the young man was against the fence about going to college right after high school. After his conversation with JT the young brother was convinced that he should go.

That kind of concern about our people is paramount when dealing with BMe brother/barber/businessman JT. With that being, he is giving back in the form of a Back To School haircut event. The day before school starts from 8am-2pm he will be doing free haircuts. That's right, any student from kindergarten to the 12th grade will be able to get taken care of. Remember no reservations needed. Until next time have some fun and get something done.
