Every now and then a brother will stand up and do something extra for people. That brother is John (JT The Barber) Thompson. Located at Rennies Barbershop (that's 677 W.Exchange st). JT represents everything that is right with our community. He not only looks out for the young guys that sits in his chair but he do it for the elderly as well.
Monthly, JT goes out into the community and pick up elderly men who needs a haircut and brings them to his shop and take care of them. To know that we have a concerned citizen that will not only teach our youth "right from wrong" while they sit in his barber's chair but to also know that he physically goes out into the community to bring our elders in is special.
JT needs to be recognized and celebrated because of the impact that he is making right here in our own community. With that being said, go check him out whenever you need to get your next haircut.
