When we talk about reality stars trying to capitalize on their 5 minutes of fame, rapper Papose is doing just that. For those that don't know Papose was a lyrical assassin way before his marriage to Remy Ma. One of Hip Hop's most baffling phenomenon is "why can't real mc's/battle rappers not make a commercially accepted record. Or to put it simple, Why can't rapper's like Papose have success on the billboard charts?

I believe that many reasons can be considered the truth. But I am a fan of the so-called "suborn rapper theory" This theory is when you have a real lyricist not willing to compromise his or her artistic credibility just to sell records. I love this mentality, But this is the real reason why we don't have many "great rappers" transcending the boundaries of the underground.

Since the take over by what some have affectionately called "skinny jean rappers" many people have been yearning for real lyricism. And the once irrelevant "book bag mc's" are now in high demand.
