Pusha T. More than meets the eye

Check out Push T's latest effort titled Wrath Of Caine

When I think of the hardest working man in show business, the phrase bring back thoughts of the late great James Brown. He earned that title by not only putting in a whole lot of work. But he also earned the title by staying relevant while doing so. Pusha T has been doing his version of the before mentioned phrase by also staying relevant in the streets and the game as a whole. Without a major label release Pusha T have managed to propel his name and brand to the top of the game. With the help of social media and a few mix-tape releases he has become more relevant than ever. Sometimes I like to give props to the artists that have been putting in so much hard work and at the same time giving the streets and their core fan base quality music. When I tell people that I'm really feeling Pusha's style, music and vibe, they can't believe it. They often say "man I thought you didn't like crack rap". For the record, I don't like when a rapper only talks about drugs sell and gansta tells. But when you really listen to Pusha's lyrics and word play you will realize that his often tales of drug sells are accompanied by thought provoking subject matter and concepts. The title of his latest mix-tape is evidence WRATH OF CAINE. When you first see that title the first thing that comes to mind is drugs. But if you are a true fan of Pusha you would know that he have a brother that left their group( The Clipes) to pursue his passion to become a more devoted christian. His brother, Malice still creates quality music but now he do it for Jesus- hoping to reach the streets. While Pusha T do it for the streets and all of it's glory. This dynamic between the brothers is kind of like that old testimate story between brothers Kain and Able. Hints the title Wrath Of Kain. Check out the play on words in regards to the title. This is the kind of depths that Pusha T raps with. Keep in mind that his brother was and is his biggest influence and if your third eye is open you will enjoy Pusha T's music. Until next time have some fun and get something done.
