The King of Blazin Hip Hop and R&B Trey Songz

Over the years many artists have started from humble beginnings to super star status. Now more then ever artists can promote their brand in many different ways. From the Internet to the television many acts have found success and in some cases found the fountain of youth. Since the advent of reality TV we as fans can get a unique view of these modern music stars. So when an artist comes along and shoot all the way to the top without all the extras it's a good guess that the music is the reason. Even though Trey Songz did do the reality TV thing this pass summer he is truly the last of a dying breed.

Trey Songz has been putting in work for quite some time now. From writing songs for some of the industry's biggest stars to releasing three and now his fourth LP titled Passion, Pain and Pleasure this brother is now at the top of his game and urban music as a whole. Now I hate to use the term urban music but let's face it music is still separated by racial taste. Now don't get me wrong I feel that this guy has what it takes to be one of the biggest in the game period. But for now let's just enjoy this brother before all the cross-over madness happens. Hopefully this brother keep true to his core audience and keep the cross-over to the pop wanna be's. If you know like I know after you cross over you can't seem to find your way back.

When you're hot you're hot and the guys at Atlantic Records got it right. To drop an LP while all the hype was still going strong was a great effort. That's the true nature of the game -to capitalize off of what's happen now. Personally I think that Trey Songz is the true definition of what that Blazin Hip Hop and R&B has become. So with that in mind I will be the first to call him The King of Blazin Hip Hop and R&B.

The new CD kicks off with an interlude and then the first track titled Love Faces comes on. This song is a smooth groove with a hot piano riff. A traditional R.Kelly style of slow jam. The title of the song is self explanatory "LOVE FACES". The next track is titled Massage and on this song he sings about giving his girl a sexy seductive massage right after she gets home from a hard day's work. Love the way this slow groove feels. Another track is titled Alone and on this song we find ourselves once again IN THE CLUB where Trey sees a lovely lady that he tries to take home. Now this is a mid tempo joint and it set the stage for the next joint titled Bottoms Up featuring Nicki Minaj. Of course this is the perfect club banger complete with alcohol as the main ingredient. Another song that they're playing on the radio is titles Can't be friends. And on this slow jam he sings about his girl breaking up with him and only wanting to be just his friend. But all he can do is ponder why did he invest so much love into this relationship.
All in all if you like what that Blazin Hip Hop and R&B is all about then look no further then The King Of Blazin Hip Hop and R&B Trey Songz. Until next time have some fun and get something done.
