Imagine if I told you that someone prophesized the LeBron James legacy in the exact year LeBron was born. Well, that’s exactly what an author from Atlanta did. In 1984 author Wayne Pounds wrote an original script that would later bare-witness to the life and rise of the Akron native who would later become king. The Name of the book is titled Number 23 & Me The LeBron James Prophecy

One of the great things about the author Wayne Pounds is his relationship with the most-high God and his undeniable drive. It was that undeniable drive and hustle that granted me the opportunity to have a (sit down) conversation with him. A simple gesture of respect to LeBron James by visiting his home-town was the social vehicle that allowed the author Wayne Pounds to meet LeBron’s high school coach and a few other associates.

One of Pound's greatest influencers is James Earl Jones. It was Jones who inspired him to even get motivated enough to write the book.
