Pastor Dejuan & Stacey Kelker
Most people
that I run into or have business meetings with knows how I get around. When
representing Akron’s “black media/press” I find myself dealing with a lot of
people. Since we here at Akronhiphop.com are your authentic voice for the urban
and hip-hop culture, it comes to no surprise that we get to talk to everyone
in the community. From business owners, teachers, poets, community activists,
barbers and everybody in between it is our job and mission to paint positive
images of our people every day.
Pastor Kelker |
His “true” first calling was to become the leader that he is today. Understanding the many transitional experiences that one can go through Pastor Kelker confesses that he had to leave the “rap” lifestyle alone so that his transition as an instrument of God can manifest.
Recently I had an opportunity to sit down and “chop it up” with the brotha Pastor. Being able to vibe on many topics from his new church location to this year’s Fight Against Hunger event (which takes place this November 23rd) was dope. Please check out our vibe session and more information in the video posted at the bottom of this article. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
