Recently I've had the pleasure of finally getting to have a recorded conversation (interview) with conscious brotha Jerome Moss. Many people can actually find out how conscious Jerome really is by that interview. But most that knows him (on a personal level) understands that the video interview we did was just a small portion of how really deep and involved in community building he really is.
With that being said one of the things he brings to the community is "promotions". That's right, the brotha is always promoting something that the community can feel safe and have a good time doing. This time around he's promoting an evening of Comedy & Jazz this Saturday October 12th, at 1238 Weathervane Lane Akron Ohio 44313. The event will not only feature a great night of comedy but also a great performance by Jazz artists and Apollo winner (Akron's own) Kofi Boakye. The event starts at 8pm. You can get your tickets in advance at Eventbrite for only $25.00. If you decide to wait until the day of the show a small increase for the tickets will be added bringing them to $35.00. In-closing, this sounds like yet another great event by one of our city's greatest assets. And that asset is brotha Jerome Moss. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
