Great Food And Great Service At Nephew's

So this fall, we here at Akronhiphop.com decided to feature some of the city’s best tasting food from the city’s independently owned and operated African Americans restaurants. One of the things that I personally thought was so “dope” was the amount of black-owned eateries that we have in the city

of BLAkron Ohio.  One of those “dope” restaurants is Nephew’s which is located on BlAkron’s west side at 1675 (and a half) Diagonal Road. For those that are familiar with our beloved city understands that Nephew’s is conveniently located in the heart of the city’s African American community. 

The food that Nephews is known for is clearly amongst the city’s best. More than a “chicken shack or Barbeque spot” this place offers some of the best comfort food on this side of the Kentucky River. The restaurant’s resident Chef (who goes by the name of Chef D.) knows and understands that quality product and great tasting food is just a few ingredients when it comes to operating a successful restaurant.

 One of the things that Chef D. talked about was the customer service. He believes that treating people with love and respect generates reoccurring customers. He also said that getting the food right every single time is paramount or of the utmost importance. In short, he said that customers always want to know that the taste of the food and quality will always be the same. So when it comes to the many different items that are on the menu, making sure it tastes the same every visit is step one when it comes to solidifying one's brand.  In closing Nephew's and Chef D. are at the top of the "food chain" here in Akron.
