When we think about Akron's urban music scene the only thing that should come to mind is quality. As of late, it is almost nothing to see a new music video from an Akron artist on any social media platform. Personally speaking, I find it refreshing to know that our city is consistent when it comes to putting out quality rap music and videos.

As of Late Akron rapper, Myke J also known as Gurrilla has been doing his thing to make a positive impact on the game. Myke J is AkronHipHop.com's rap consultant. As a consultant here at AkronHipHop/Mecca Media Myke interviews national and local rappers that the city is feeling/supporting.

As a rapper, he has been doing big things ultimately helping to push forward the music scene here in BLAkron Ohio. Recently Myke J released a new music video titled Competition.
