When we think about 'black owned' businesses in Akron Ohio, the first thing that comes to mind should be diversity. Which brings me to the many different "flavors" that the "black owned restaurant" scene has to offer. When we bring up the term "flavor" here in the city it's obvious that we should be talking about The Flavor Grille which is located at 1562 Akron Peninsula Rd Suite 105 Akron, Ohio 44313. Jamaican eatery. Of course the spot offers everything one has come to expect from a Jamaican restaurant. Ox-tails, Jerk chicken, Curry chicken and so much more are simply waiting on deck everyday. What makes The Flavor Grille so dope in my opinion is not just the burgers, loaded fries, flavor wings...it's the owner himself Jay Hustle. As a business man he exemplifies the definition of the word hustle. If you don't know about his grind, just ask around.
In-closing, their are many different "flavors" that our great city has to offer. When it comes to "black owned" businesses the "flavor" count can be almost limitless. If we as a people can support each other's endeavors then the success of other operations will be able to reach the level that The Flavor Grille has earned.
