In recent years we have featured almost every part of our unique culture as so-called African Americans. Business owners, entertainers and even christian pastors have all been featured on this site. One of the things that I personally enjoy sharing/promoting is the so-called new breed of scholars.
These type of knowledge kickers are driven to uplift the mindset of our people by using any and all divinely inspired texts along with historical facts. The scholars themselves represent their own style and swag. Which brings me to this week's featured scholars that goes by the name of Red Pill and Blue Pill also known collectively as The Pillahs.
What's so dope about these two brothers is they are real blood brothers. In fact, they are twin brothers. I believe that they are so popular because they approach teaching from a hip hop/popular world view perspective. They often refer to the theological construct depicted in the Matrix films.
Aside from teaching, The Pillahs are real rappers.
Listening to their music is a breath of fresh air. Their conscious message and imagery are perfectly illustrate in their music videos as well as the songs themselves. Another good thing about the brothers is they are fashion designers and entrepreneurs.
