We here at Akronhiphop.com would like to wish the entire community a Happy New Year. About a month or so ago, I came up with the idea of acknowledging and celebrating the many different people, businesses and organizations that we've had the pleasure of working with this past year (2017).
We've took the time over the past couple weeks and compiled a list of Akron's movers and shakers (that was featured on this website) and came up with a list. I personally sent the featured articles/posts to a few of my business associates and allowed them to weigh in.
In-closing, winners and nominees were picked based on the popularity of the post that they were featured in. To make it simple, we calculated and compared all the hits each post received. Keep in mind, everyone that was featured on our website this past year were all winners. If it wasn't for those featured individuals, businesses and organizations our year wouldn't have been as interesting and successful as it was.
At this time I would like to thank some of the people who have sent in music videos, current event videos, original written articles, and people who have donated to this past year's Water Campaign and The Feed The Needy Campaign. Shout out to: Stacey G, Rebecca T, Rich P, Karon, Deech, Let's Talk Char, TVick, Russell N, J-Good, Heather M, Bro. Clarence, Matt T, Clarence G, Pastor Ukali and Serena White, Elmer, Rasoul and Tia, RT and JTand anyone else that sent in any information. The nominees and winners are as follows.
