This Holiday Season Keep It In The Hood

It's that time of the year and we all know what that means. "Time to boycott for the holidays". In all honesty, I can really relate to the people that push for us to boycott the x-mas season. We all know that it's all about capitalism and making this so-called racist power structure that governs this nation daily even more richer.

I suggest, that we as a community and people boycott this season by simply buying black. This way we can send a message to the world that we are know longer about making the next man's life here on earth even more lavished. It's about time that we patronize our own especially when we have it to spend or are conditioned to spend.

With that being said, it's really OK to support your own. Quiet as it's kept, most of our people feel like if we just focus on black owned business we are participating in some form of racism. But such is not the case, other races support their own all the time. Ask yourself, can you open up a business in little Italy or China Town?

When talking to brother Vic at 2 Live Music in
Akron, he said that the entire Hawkins Plaza and all of Copley Road should be filled with nothing but black owned businesses. Which got me to thinking....you know what he's right!!! I don't see a soul food joint in China Town so why is it that they can have a Chinese joint in our neck of the woods?

With all of that being said, please feel proud this holiday season when buying black. Hopefully, by participating this time around you would've conditioned yourself to by black first all year round. Until next time, check out 2 Live Music in the video below and have some fun and get something done.
