Many aspiring rappers take to social media with their soul intent being focused on success. YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have all become major platforms as it pertains to the music business. Even major record labels are using these sites not only to push and promote their artists but they use them to find the next big thing. And when we're speaking about the next big thing, we can only be talking about Akron Ohio resident and rapper Poodieville.
Hailing from East Moline Ill. this 22 year old MC have been setting the internet ablaze with his viral video "These Hoes Ain't Loyal". For the few that don't know, in the video we find the rapper sitting and spitting pure fire about his cheating ex-girlfriend. Many people and media outlets related to the subject matter and delivery of the song and as a result it's been shared countless times. Thus making Poodieville one of the nations most popular unsigned artist.
His recent internet success is just one piece of the puzzle regarding his popularity. Earlier this year Poodieville was a featured rapper on BET's reality show/competition titled "One Shot". Clearly one of the best featured on the show Poodieville keeps his many fans connected to him and his movement via social media. With that being said, we believe that this young man is destined for even more success. And with the release of his 3rd mix-tape titled "Flex On My Ex" fortune and fame is only around the corner.
