Every month here at Akronhiphop.com we like to showcase an artist/rapper that's making some noise in the city as well as on the national stage. As an independent artist, making noise or "creating a buzz" has never been so critical like today. With that being said Akron's power couple and rappers Mrs. Dean & T. Vickz are at the threshold of national success.
With the current success of their latest single titled Same Chick off their album Zamunda the sky's are the limit. As of today the single and video has generated over 70 million views via multiple social media outlets. Entrepreneur/CEO and rapper T. Vickz knows all to well what it really takes to get a record buzzin like their current single. As he always say numbers means visibility and visibility translates into many different national record labels taking notice.
One of the dopest things about this rapping power couple is the actual single itself. They are the walking embodiment of "Black Love". They celebrate being married ultimately uplifting the community by the way they talk about commitment and loyalty to the one you love. This is why I believe the song "Same Chick" is doing the numbers that it is.
