One of the many things one should not do, as it pertains to barbershop etiquette is go to another barber for any said reason. There's a few reasons why one would try another barber. One of those reasons is your're out of town. Another reason could be you don't have the time to go to your normal barber. In any event, going to another barber can be disastrous.
Recently I was at Transformations Barber & Beauty Salon and asked the question about "going or trying another barber. The anwers were all relevant and useful. One of the barbers even said that once a customer comes back to their regular barber another fee should be added due to all of the reconstruction that they have to perform to get your hair back on track. This "reconstruction phase" always occurs when a customer try's another barber.
In short, the temperary or new barber really has no clue to how to keep the original hair cut going or even a reference point. This is why it's extremely important to stay with your same or regular barber. Below you'll find my conversation while I was at the barbershop. Until next time, have some fun and get something done.
