Recently I've been getting a lil slack about the lack of "Hip-Hop"culture being featured on this web/blogsite. Now, first and foremost we do feature the culture as a whole. To be active in the creative/expression part of the culture is one thing. But what happens to the persons that has been expressing themselves artistically over the years and decides to hang up the break-dancing, Mcing, graffiti art and Djing. It's simple, just because someone can't break-dance anymore don't mean that their not apart of the culture. Think about it...How many people do you see standing in the circle watching the b-boys do their thing. With that being said I do understand their point. We don't showcase enough B-Boys, DJ's and graffiti artists. However, we do showcase many people that consider themselves a part of the "HIP-HOP" community here in BLAkron Ohio. Even though they don't "Rap" they still rep the culture. As an effort to showcase more B-Boys, DJ's and artists we will kick things off right with local Hip-Hop "Dance" phenom Erron Jones aka Cord Stop.
