One of the best things about being involved with a brotherhood like the BMe community is clearly the people you get to network and build with. Here in Akron Ohio most of the brothers that are involved in the community/network I pretty much knew already before they joined.
For instance my brotha Elec Simon I've known for years. Last year he was named a Bme Genious and was awarded the $10.000 to continue his dynamic work regarding the bullying situation in our schools. Not only is Elec concerned about our youth but he is clearly the most talented person I've ever met.
Elec is considered one of the busiest people in show business. He has an entertainment position with the Cleveland Cavaliers, He's currently touring with jazz legends Pieces Of A Dream and was a regular on Broadway in the play Stomp. He is so blessed and busy at the same time one could only wonder how he can keep up with his Bullying Campaign/tour.
Recently I caught up with the superstar himself at one of his stops/venues during his bullying campaign. To see how the children and even the parents relate to him as he entertains them via the arts make me realize that Elec is one in a million.
