It seems like almost every day someone is sending me some new music or a music video from a rapper who represents Akron Ohio. Many people understand that we here at Akron Hip Hop will show love and support to anyone that's showing love and support to us and the entire BLAkron Ohio community.
Anytime I get music from StreetLite Music I know that I'm getting industry standard production complete with great subject matter. C.E.O and rapper Lazarus hits us with his second project titled Mr. DeShawn Johnson. For those that don't know Lazarus and his music, it's filled with spiritual consciousness and relevant information.
His latest effort Mr. DeShawn Johnson is a 15 song project complete with everything that his fans have come to expect from whom some has called the voice of modern "Christian" rap. The thing that I like most about Lazarus is his music sounds like street music. But when you really listen to what the brotha is talking about during his songs you'll realize that God plays an important role.
